Profhilo is made up of high doses of a stabilised, non-crossed link hyaluronic acid, which encourages the skin to regenerate itself. It brings back a natural rehydration to the skin, and boosts collagen in a way that most face creams, lotions and serums simply cannot.

Profhilo is injected at five points into the skin’s upper layers.

This treatment is best for anyone seeing signs of ageing. Originally, Profhilo was designed for patients between the ages of 40 and 60, although there is no real upper age limit for the treatment. Younger clients under 40 can benefit from the preventative results of Profhilo, achieving flawless glowing skin and a refreshed appearance. 

Profhilo is perfect to treat the face, neck area and the back of hands.

You can undertake this treatment whenever you feel ready, or when you think your skin is changing. You don’t necessarily have to wait until you see the signs of aging or wait until you reach a certain age. After the age of 30, our bodies naturally begin to produce less collagen elastin and hyaluronic acid, so this treatment can preserve and take care of what we have.

Profhilo is a two-step treatment that is undertaken four weeks apart. After the first treatment, around the four-week mark, clients will see an improvement in the texture of their skin. Again, after the second treatment, further change can be seen and the skin will appear more hydrated, tighter and more youthful.

Profhilo treatments carry very few risks. As with any injected treatments, some bruising or swelling may occur. Although possible, allergic reactions, infection, vascular compromise and nerve damage is rare. There is no downtime or rest required after receiving this treatment.
